Ads Only Arbitrage

This is for search engine users, not marketers.

If you click a pay-per-click ad, and land on a page full of only ads, is this good or bad experience? Why? What do you think the search engines should do (if anything)?

  • Okay definitely a bad experience. I clicked on the organic link because I didn't want a commercial or be sold something, I wanted information. So down with arbitrage and up with relevant results. Of course I know why Google allows it but in the long run it is going to hurt them.

  • HORRIBLE experience - makes me angry. I write about this stuff all the time.

Hey, is your new book hitting the shelves or is it only online?

  • I hear ya, Knox.

"How to Win Sales & Influence Spiders" is a print book, not an e-book. You can order it online and it *should* be in a bookstore near you. :-)
